On this 76th edition of the podcast, Jim Thomson, President of the Rotary Club Arlington Heights is my guest. It’s that time of year again for mistletoe, egg nog, office parties, and of course this years 5k Rotary Santa Run held in Downtown Arlington Heights. Over 1,500, Santa Claus suite wearing participants, brave the elements to make the 3.2 mile jaunt through the streets of Arlington Heights.
Registration begins at 9am for all you runners planning on participating or you can sign up here. Kids, don’t worry, there is the Reindeer Run for you as well. Be ready to work off some energy in the two block sprint down Campbell st.
Supporting A Great Cause
The Rotary Club of Arlington Heights has been supporting local non for profits by donating over $20,000 each year to local charitable organizations. The Clubs contributions to our community has been making a difference for all of us and others around the country. With over $6,000 in donations this year, to the hurricane disaster relief, The Arlington Heights Rotary Club continues to be a model organization.
