On this edition of the Podcast, Carol Friedburg of the Arlington Heights Historical Society is my guest. Carol manages the Arlington Heights farmers market each week with her group of dedicated volunteers. Carol describes the importance of the local farmers market and the benefit it has on our community. The farmers market has local vendors from all over the area supplying fresh produce, cheeses, and meats. The market is held each Saturday all summer long, you can get more information and schedules here on the website or on the Facebook page .
When you are done at the Farmers Market walk across the street to the Arlington Heights Historical Museum. They have delicious four packs of the famous ‘Arlington Club’ soda op for sale in the lobby.
