On this 88th edition of the podcast, Sheila Henneman of Berry-Yo Frozen Yogurt returns to discuss the Impact her establishment has on the community. If you didn’t know… This coming weekend, August 3rd and 4th, is the Arlington Heights Mane Event held in downtown Arlington Heights. Be sure to stop by Berry-Yo for some fresh yogurt and a friendly environment the whole family will enjoy.
Now in it’s sixth year of operation, Berry Yo has become a staple in the community. Sheila Heinemann and her brother started with the idea to bring dairy fresh yogurt to its customers. As Sheila says, “good tasting yogurt needs to be dairy based. A lot of my competitors use a powder base which doesn’t give you that ice creamy flavor.” I can attest to that, the yogurt is amazing at Berry Yo.
For those of you who don’t know Sheila Henemann, she more than a business owner. Sheila is a mother of four children who has mad love for the community. She inspires me and everyone in the community with her willingness to help local schools and local charities. Berry Yo not only provides employment for teens it also raises money for many different school related programs. Can you say win win? Great yogurt for you and I… AND helping our kids in the community.
Make sure you head over to Berry Yo this weekend for the Mane Event. And don’t forget the shop is open all year around serving great coffee and much much more.
